Dental Services

The Dirne Community Health Center is continuing to expand and is now proud to offer dental care services. The Dirne Dental Clinic and Dirne Emergency Dental Clinic are both located at 916 Ironwood Drive, lower level.

The Dirne Dental Clinic

The Dirne Dental Clinic provides comprehensive and emergency dental care to patients of all ages with Medicaid. Children are welcome!

Services offered include:

- Comprehensive Exams
- Cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Sealants
- Restorative care (silver and tooth-colored fillings)
- Simple Extractions

The Dirne Dental Clinic is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday. Please call (208) 292-0697 to make an appointment.

You will be screened for eligibility based on the Dental Sliding Fee Scale. This scale is based on Federal Poverty guidelines which change annually. Basically, everything is based on your ability to pay (i.e. income and family size). You can use the following table as a guide:

There is a $25.00 non-refundable cash charge that will need to be paid prior to booking an appointment. This charge ensures a spot for you on the day you schedule.

If you cancel, no-show, or reschedule your appointment, the $25.00 will NOT be returned to you and you will NOT be able to put this towards another appointment with our clinic. The minimum fee for Dirne Dental Clinic is $25.00 due in cash at or before services.

The Dirne Emergency Dental Clinic

This Friday clinic offers emergency services for non-insured patients who meet income guidelines. This clinic offers limited care for dental emergencies and is staff by volunteer dentists.

How to make an appointment:

You must qualify financially be be seen during this clinic (see below)
There is a $25.00 non-refundable cash charge that will need to be collected prior to booking an appointment. This charge ensures a spot for you on the day you schedule.
If you cancel, no-show, or reschedule your appointment, the $25.00 will NOT be returned to you and you will NOT be able to put this towards another appointment with our clinic.
Appointments are only booked Monday through Thursday on a first come first serve basis for that Friday only. The scheduler is at 916 Ironwood Drive (lower level) Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

To see if you are qualified financially to receive this service, we will need one of the following:

W-2 form, or
IRS Tax Return from the most current year, or
Last two current paycheck stubs, or
Social Security Administrative documents, or
Income verification form obtained at Job Service (located at 1211 Ironwood Drive).

For individuals who are married, we will need the spouse's information as well, which can be documented by supplying one item from the list above.
